13|Jul|2009 1I would imagine you would use some sort of solder or crimp.
Go to Home Depot or the library and pick up a book on residential wiring.
That should show you how a home is wired. Plus, there are various combinations of ways to wire a light and rather tough to explain without some sort of pictures or diagrams.
