   I think it was good that he apologized, and that John Lewis found it in his heart to forgive him. But, being the pessimist that I am, I think that things will stay the way they are. There will still be racial prejudice as long as there is a race to be prejudice against.

   That was really nice of him to apologize for what he did.
   But at the same time I don’t think things will really turn around. I mean it depends on an individual. At least this guy had a sense of realizing what he did was wrong. But I think the holy spirit got into him. He’s 72 his time can come any second. May he be received in God’s house.

   I think that’s a big move on the white man’s part… an even bigger move for the black guy to consider him a friend. I may forgive, but I honestly dont think I’d want to be friends with such a person.
