She went to a couple of our local senior assisted living homes and put an ad up on their bulletin board and got lots of inquiries. This elderly gentlemen whose family lived miles away, loved to work with wood and made her one for just the cost of the materials. It is so awesome, it has things that others wouldn't. He made it so personal with bits of material from favorite clothes, swatches of rugs from their home, etc. Plus, it brightened up and put a smile on a otherwise lonely senior citizen.
