I’m building a doll house, and want to decorate it soon. But the wallpaper and flooring for it are so expensive! Is there any way to decorate my house using cheaper materials?

06|Sep|2009 1Yes! You can … use paint! (many modern houses are painted walls, right?) Use sample tins to do this, or left over house paint. Make sure you have enough coats for it to look good. Then put friezes on it.
You can print out wallpaper from several miniatures websites (don’t know them off hand, not done it before). You can make your own flooring from tiny tiles, or there are print outs for them too to look like wood. You can also make many of the things yourself, like rugs etc.
