19|Jan|2010 1I hated Nora at first because in my mind she was the epitome of the D.I.D (damsel in distress). Then I read it again for my paper…and again….and again. Things started showing up about Nora’s behavior. She was spineless at first but she was also somewhat manipulative. So in the end, Nora redeemed herself, especially when she left Torvald. Also, I had to rewrite my thesis after the second reading.

19|Jan|2010 2I’ve actually acted in that play recently. Gillian Anderson is far too old to be Nora, what were they thinking?
It’s a seriously depressing play. It’s very good if it’s acted well but it’s not exactly fun. It’s very tense and emotional.
