I want to build a doll house for 12 inch dolls. Can anyone direct me to some instructions on how to build a simple one? My skills aren’t great but I am learning. (I would prefer it be made out of wood but all suggestions appreciated) Thanks!
A dollhouse for 12″ dolls would be 1/6 scale, not the commoner 1/12 or 1/16. Yes, many people play in this scale.
Here are some links for “play-size” 1/6 scale resources:http://www.hobbyworldinc.com/dollplan1.h…http://www.dollhousecollectables.com/blo…
For upholstered furniture, way back when, I’d used corrugated paper, quilt batting or disassembled cosmetic puffs, and fabric, held together with glue & straight pins. The pins were removed after the glue dried. I measured real furnishings or pictures from catalogs and “did the math” create scale models.
