Raggedy Anne in a Barbie doll world,
Red hair braided, blonde hair curled.
Make up on, rouge on her cheeks,
Plastic legs, arms that squeak.
Cuz I’m just a girl, freckles and all,
Plain and quiet, not amazon tall.
I wear black shoes, no pink high heels,
A blue and white dress, nothing it reveals.
I’m not a size 2, or even a four,
And I don’t have a beach house at the shore.
I don’t wear bikini’s, I’m not made of plastic,
And my striped tights, are elastic.
I’m not a pop star, no lip synching singer,
And I don’t have a rock, on my finger.
No man on my arm, I hold my own,
It’s what a girl’s gotta do when she’s all alone.
My head doesn’t pop off my cute little shoulders,
And I don’t pose in camo on those stupid boulders.
You can’t do my hair, my flat red locks,
And I’m already dressed up in my blue checkered frocks.
