Baby dolls, Barbies, doll house figures, action figures?
I personally had only black baby dolls and I never played with them because I didn’t understand why the doll was so dark, compared to me. I had black barbies, one Hispanic barbie, and 2 Kens (one black one white). I only played with the Hispanic barbie because she was a workout edition and could flex.
I had doll house people of all races and I mixed all the families together, so I could use all the kids. And I incorporated my action figures to the doll house families, so Batman and Captain America had wives and children.
Also, my doll/action figures had gay and lesbian relationships. I was like 5, and I never thought there was anything wrong with a family having 2 moms or 2 dads.
How about you?
(please stick to dolls, barbies, and figures, no legos/k’nex/tinker toy/car/robot stories.) Thank you.

28|Feb|2010 1Most toys were white but I was young so it didn’t mean anything significant to me; I probably had equal amount of black and white dolls and only one Asian doll
If I have a daughter however she is definitely having black dolls; they’ll be plenty of white women on tv

28|Feb|2010 2I had a nice assortment of dolls. My parents are all about diversity, so they bought me Black, White, Hispanic, Asian (these were harder to find, though), and so on dolls. But, I have to say the majority of my Barbies happened to be White.
Oddly enough, the majority of my baby dolls were Black or Hispanic.

01|Mar|2010 3Mainly I had caucasian dolls, but I did have some african american dolls too. I also had a teresa doll. I got it on my birthday when I was a kid. I only got it because she had a wicked pretty dress.
I did have some action figures too. Like my brothers would have all kinds of action figures and stuff.

01|Mar|2010 5well my toys were transformers and G.I Joe, considering they were both robots and of pretty much of every race i’d say that’s a safe bet that they weren’t all white
