   They are a hobby for miniature collectors.
   Yes young woman that love dollhouses age,so they grow old together.
   These houses grow with value too.
   The miniature furniture and accessories are works of art.
   I prefer hand made. I would not spend very much on a kit.
   Because it is a lot of sweat equity,the process is fun.
   We have a miniature shop that sells flooring,wallpaper,furniture,dolls etc.
   Some people make shadow boxes of one room,

   Cheapest way to remodel and renovate a home. Working in Miniature, building, painting and decorating a doll house is no different then a man building model cars or boats

   I like dollhouses to choose out the furniture and arrange them and decorate them. I look for the size and details of a dollhouse. The most I have ever spent on a dollhouse was almost $200.

   Collect furniture, rearrange, you can add wallpaper, carpet, etc. My mom had one.

   Collecting for nostalgia sake, when things were “simpler” in the 50s esque time. Meh.
