As in the series with Eliza Dushku (yeah, I know I spelt it wrong)? My mom loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and she is still upset and confused to why they cancelled Tru Calling. Although I’m not as much of a fan as she is, I too liked (like) watching them. However, my mom hasn’t found Doll House to meet her expectations. She says its an okay show, but somewhat confusing. Now I haven’t seen A full episode of Doll House, just haven’t had time. There haven’t been too many episodes yet so It’s probably to early to form a final opinion about the show, but what do you think about it so far?

23|Dec|2009 1I really like it. It’s not up to Joss Whedon’s usual standards just yet, but it’s interesting and getting better.
The biggest problem with Dollhouse is the network. FOX didn’t learn a thing from Firefly, and they meddled with the first five episodes to try and appeal to a wider audience. They just ended up dulling the show and alienating much of the audience it was meant to have. It’s picking up though, so tell your mom to stay tuned.

24|Dec|2009 2It’s good, interesting and each episode you learn something more. Plus there’s more leads and you keep wondering when she’s gonna rebel or get kidnapped.
Plus there’s action in most.
And I’m pretty sure you spelt her name right.

24|Dec|2009 4I think it’s too early to write it off yet… I think sometimes good shows need time to develop. BTVS and Angel wasn’t that fantastic in their first seasons. Also, I’ve heard that Fox kind of had more of a say in the first couple of episodes and it wasn’t totally what Joss Whedon wanted. I’ve been watching it since the first episode and I think the show has a lot of potential. Last weeks episode #6 was written by Joss Whedon and was promisd to be a good episode and it really was but you kinda have to watch the episodes before to understand everything. It’s starting to get really good though, so I’d say watch and see for yourself but be warned the first four episodes aren’t spectacular.
