I know that the song itself is widely considered to either be about inspiring the listener or Kerli’s childhood (to some extent, perhaps symbolic of Estonia’s being under the rule of the Soviet Union at the time?), but no one has really given an open interpretation of the video (even just their personal ideas)
There’s gotta be something behind it that makes it more of a story. Some guy drops off a doll at a creepy house, so I assumed that Kerli was the doll and that half-dead looking thing was the “creepy girl”, but you see Kerli WITH the doll, too. Then later, she IS clearly the doll, singing, so is she supposed to be a gothic-esque Barbie doll? She had cutesy outfits, but they were black and white and a rather unique style and she served dinner (or at least began making it) like Barbie would (even though the dinner looked like a heart), but when she woke up in her bed she had strings in her arms that the girl cut, so she was apparently a puppet. Is any of that symbolic of anything?
