Is this for literature or dramatic studies? Do you want to compare all three texts?
Literature: orthodox feminine roles (within context of play) and how they are subverted by the protagonist.
Heroic or monstrous women and powerless or unmanly men. Relationships between parent and child (and between siblings/uncle-niece for Antigone). The individual’s duty to society/the state/convention and at what price.
Drama: Uses of dramatic mechanisms (in speech – irony, Greek rhetorical techniques, in action – movement and staging, characterisation through speech and movement, staging – confines and demands of the scenery and imagery) – comparison between texts. Does Ibsen use a chorus?
Interesting texts – makes me want to read the dolls house again….
