LOL I feel your pain, my husband quivers in the corner everytime my son picks up one of his sisters dolls and asks his dad to play “naked dolls” with him!!!
Stop sexualizing children’s toys would be my answer. Or stop buying them for your kids if you’re hubby can’t take looking at a fake plastic boobs without being “tramatized”.
Awww, poor husband! I agree, though. Even at 5, my daughter makes everything naked in her room. And of course the clothes fall to the farthest reaches of her toybox, never to be found again. I am happy, though, that they’ve started painting “underwear” on some dolls. At least the poor doll has something!
Haha!
Well, that’s the fun isn’t it? Choosing new outfits, and doing their hair.
I always get complaints of my younger children that their older sister (11) doesn’t play with them anymore.
So, I just say “Why don’t you guys dress up the barbies?”
So, they do.
but by the end of it, i’ll find clothes EVERYWHERE! Little pieces of hair, and obviously, I have to clean it all up
lmao too funny, too cute! I know what you mean, I haven’t seen a “properly” dressed Barbie (are they ever properly dressed) in a very long time and yes, babies definitely hate clothes.
aaawwweee….your poor husband!!!! i have no clue why little girls insist on having their babies and barbies naked all the time but it never fails……..i couldn’t keep clothes on my daughter’s or my neice’s babies either……..its like trying to keep socks on an infant without putting their shoes on too. give up and accept it…..babies and barbies are SUPPOSED to be naked….lol!!!
That is hilarious because my daughter does the same thing and last night my husband found a naked barbie in her brothers’ room (ages 11 and 9). My husband yelled for my daughter to come get her barbie and to not bring them into the boys’ room, and she said “the boys came and got her cuz they wanted to feel her boobies”. OMG They should make a sex ed Barbie!!
You should buy them a doll house where they can store all of their doll clothes. My daughters have tremendous amounts of clothes and shoes for their barbie’s and bratz dolls.
They each own a doll house which comes with a wardrobe. As young as they are, i have taught them to tidy their rooms and now they have applied that to their dolls.
Whenever i inspect their rooms, i find the doll clothes neatly packed in their doll wardrobes and shoes neatly arranged in size and colour.
All of their dolls are to be kept IN the doll houses and not lying around the house.
